The basis for our simulation model is data from a wide range of sources. Topographical maps, digital GIS data, airborne laser measurements as well as 3D-photogrammetry, channel profiles and drawings of buildings are used to make an accurate model.
We will stay on top of all of this and will tell you about missing data in order to provide a model that accurately reflects reality.
To validate our model, we perform simulations of past flood events and recorded water levels. By comparing the results to the records, we can determine the fidelity of our model.
